What RES Measures
Polaris-RES combines a strength-based assessment with the
measurement of symptoms, the consumer's ability to function
in everyday life, high-risk behaviors (e.g., danger to self

and community/ social functioning, including depression/anxiety,
impulsive/addictive behavior, psychosis, daily living/role
functioning and relation to self-others.
Strength-based scales:
- Resiliency
- Goal Directiveness
