Dr. Tina Harralson Joins the Polaris Staff as Senior Researcher

Polaris Health Directions is pleased to announce that Dr. Tina Harralson has joined the Polaris team as a senior researcher. Her experience includes planning, designing, implementing and evaluating behavioral health outcomes and clinical research studies focused on disease prevention and symptom management in hospital, primary care and community settings.
Dr. Harralson has been an investigator on federally- and state-funded grants, and published and presented in the areas of cardiovascular disease, diabetes, metabolic syndrome, obesity and cancer. She has worked collaboratively with Duke, Drexel, Temple, Thomas Jefferson University, the University of Pennsylvania and the Albert Einstein Healthcare Network.
Dr. Harralson holds a Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Tennessee, and obtained a National Heart Lung Blood Institute post-doctoral fellowship in Behavioral Medicine from Duke University Medical Center. She has held research faculty positions at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and at the Thomas Jefferson School of Medicine.
