Langhorne, PA (June 15, 2010)- Polaris introduces a clinical decision support system for high volume mental health clinics that is designed to easily integrate into routine practices without creating an additional burden for clinicians. Patients complete assessments using either a computer or fax form. Clinical reports monitor patients' progress during the course of treatment, showing changes in symptom severity and alerting therapists to conditions such as chemical dependency, suicidality and non-adherence to medication regimens. Reports are available immediately when assessments are taken on a computer, and within 24 hours if the assessment is submitted by fax.
