NIH
Awards New Grant to Polaris Health
Directions
September 2005
The grant will allow Polaris to develop a system
specifically for child welfare agencies and providers. This
strength-based outcomes management system will provide
clinical decision support for placement planning. When
completed, the system will be able to predict the
likelihood of successful family reunification.
This project will also focus on the ways to facilitate the
use of case-level information in order to reduce
administrative burden for caseworkers. New software
features, clinical scales and strength scales will be
developed and validated.
Linda Toche-Manley, Ph.D., senior research scientist at
Polaris, is the project's Principal Investigator. Providers
interested in participating in this project are encouraged
to contact Dr. Toche-Manley at (215) 359-3913.
