POLARIS HEALTH DIRECTIONS AWARDED DARSSA GRANT

Polaris Health Directions is pleased to announce we have received notification of a Phase I award to develop the Dynamic Assessment and Referral System for Substance Abuse (DARSSA) in conjunction with Cooper Hospital.

The DARSSA will automate the assessment and referral process for medical patients that abuse alcohol or drugs, including nicotine. The automated referral process is designed to facilitate and increase treatment engagement for patients suffering from addictions.

The grant is awarded by the National Institutes of Health under the Small Business Innovative Research program.
