POLARIS TO DEMO SOFTWARE AT FIRST ANNUAL CANS CONFERENCE
May 2004

Polaris staff will be in Chicago May 27-28 to demonstrate Polaris software at the First Annual Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths (CANS) Conference. The conference is being held at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.

CANS, a widely used paper-pencil instrument, has been automated for administration via Polaris's proprietary software. The system collects, scores and stores data and provides automated real-time reporting.

Development of the CANS instruments was led by John Lyons, Ph.D. The copyright is held by the Buddin Praed Foundation.
